Holodomor
All of Ukraine and the whole world honors the memory of millions of victims of the Holomor of 1932-33. This was an unprecedented crime in the history of the world. Because the man made famine was directed not only at the physical destruction of the Ukrainian people, but the communist regime sought to deprive the Ukrainian nation of its freedom-loving spirit, its identity, to break its spine.

Ukraine and the world bow their heads in sorrow.

We have not forgotten.

We remember.
