• Sumenyata Camp is likely to be your child's first camping experience! They'll meet lots of new friends have great adventures!
• Mimimal requirements for attending Sumenyata Camp:
  • Birthday between January 1, 1997 and December 31, 1999
  • Must be accompanied and supervised by a parent
• Unlike other camps in Ellenville, Sumenyata Camp is a Day Camp. Given the age group of participants, this means your child will be sleeping with you instead of at camp.
• This camp introduces your youngsters to lots of new adventures:
• Zhyvi Kazky (storytelling)
• Ukrainian songs especially chosen for the 4-5 age group
• Stories and talks about Ukraine and Ukrainians
• Arts and Crafts
• Live animals
• Field trips to the Richka (river)
• Vatra (campfires)
• Games, special events and more!
• Sumenyata is a two week camp, but because this is likely to be your youngster's frst time at camp, you may sign up for one week as a trial run. If your child loves camp (as we'll bet they will!), then stay for a second week!
