Vykhovno-Vyshkilnyj Tabir (Counselor Training Camp)

• Starts: June 29
• Ends: July 19
• Register by: June 9
• Vyshkil is a counselor training camp. Unlike most other camps in Ellenville, its duration is three (3) weeks.
• Mimimum requirements for attending Vyshkil:
  • Must have completed 9^th grade
  • Must be recommended by your Branch President (holova) or Bylavnyj
  • Must be fluent in Ukrainian (spoken/written/read) language
  • At least one year of Praktychnyj Tabir is strongly recommended
• Good command of the Ukrainian language is especially critical for Vyshkil. Be aware that all lectures are exclusively in Ukrainian, and attendees will be required to pass an exam at the end of the camp for certification. This exam must be taken in the Ukrainian language.
• Attendees of Vyshkil often choose to stay on for other camps (in the role of counselors, or vporyadnyky) later in the summer. If you think you'd be interested in working as a vporyadnyk in subsequent camps, let us know now. See the Forms Page for an application!
