Perekhodovyj Tabir

• Perekhodovyj tabir is a new camp, started in 2003. It is a transitional camp between Tabir Sumenyat and Vidpochynkovyj Tabir.
• Requirements for attending Perekhodovyj Tabir:
  • Must have completed at least Kindergarten (or 1st grade)
  • Never participated in Vykhovno-Vidpochynkovyj Tabir
  • Perekhodovyj tabir can not be repeated
• Perekhodovyj Tabir is a one-week long camp, which takes place during the second week of Vykhovno-Vidpochynkovyj tabir. Perekhodovyj Tabir campers participate in many of activities along with campers from Vykhovny-Vidpochynkovyj Tabir. However the program differs in that Perekhodovyj Tabir campers spend the night off-location with their parents during the first part of the week. In the second part of the week, parents may elect for their child to sleep on-site at the camp, or continue to sleep off-site with parents.
• Just as with Tabir Sumenyat, parents of campers must reside on the Oselia throughout the duration of Perekhodovyj Tabir. In the first part of the week, campers spend the night with parents (off-site). In the second part of the week, even if your child sleeps on-site in the camp buildings, you must still reside on the Oselia and be available in case you are needed.
• Campers must bring a bed/cot and other required provisions, even if they will not sleep on-site in the second part of the week. Each camper will have a place to rest during the day on-site - the bed will provide a place to call his/her own while he/she becomes accustomed to the transition from a day-camp to a full-time camp.
• Why during the second week of Vykhovno-Vidpochynkovyj? Scheduling Perekhodovyj Tabir at this time allows for the possibility for children who have completed Kindergarten to participate in one week of Tabir Sumenyat, followed by a week of Perekhodovyj Tabir. While Tabir Sumenyat is not a prerequisite of Perekhodovyj Tabir, we have taken this possibility into account because it was requested by a number of parents.
