INFORMATION |
Are you a dynamo on the sand volleyball court? Can you dribble circles around opponents on the soccer field? Do you have a dangerous serve on the tennis court? Can you throw the bocce ball with accuracy and precision?
If so, we invite you to show your athletic skills at our first 4th of July weekend “Nets Tournament”. The “Nets Tournament” will occur Saturday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 3rd at the American Ukrainian Youth Association (AUYA) campground in Baraboo, WI.
Early registration for payments received by Monday, June 27th is $20 per person. Registration after this date is $25 per person. The registration fee includes tournament play, a BBQ lunch (hot dogs, hamburgers), a water bottle, and the opportunity to win prizes. 1st and 2nd place cash prizes will be awarded. Tournament registration cost does not include the cost of admission onto the campground.
Each participant is allowed to register for one sport due to time limitations. If registering for a team sport such as volleyball, soccer, or bocce ball, you are required to register as a team, and each individual player is responsible for the per person tournament fee. For example, for a four-person soccer team, the registration cost by June 27th will be $80. Teams may consist of females and males in any combination. We encourage participants to come with an identifier (e.g., team color, fun accessory, team name). The individual/team with the best identifier will win a prize.
Each sport category will offer two levels of competition based on skill level (no gender divisions will apply). Advancement will be determined by double elimination.
AUYA reserves the right to delay games or cancel the tournament in the event of severe weather conditions.
