Sterling Hill Mine Trip - October 14, 2001

On October 14th, 2001, sumivtsi from CYM Whippany went on a field trip to the Sterling Hill Mines in Ogdensburg, New Jersey. We got to walk through the underground mines and see the equipment the miners used. Our tour guide explained the type of equipment that was used, and the types of minerals and ore that were produced at the mine. It was very hard to work in the mines.
