The members of the Executive Board would like to express their sincere thanks to all who attended our Svyaschene, to all of the parents and Druzhynnyky who helped in the preparation and to all the people who donated money by buying a pysanka! The Board would also like to congratulate the performing groups for a successful program at this year's "Selo-Fest"! Our deepest thanks to the members of the organizing committee, the group directors and to everyone who helped in the preparation of our wonderful program. The Executive Board also would like to congratulate all of the members of Yunatstvo and Druzhynnyky who are celebrating their school graduations. We wish you all the best in your further studies or work! The Board also extends congratulations to the members of Yunatstvo who celebrated their first Hoty Communion this year. May God always be present in your lives!
CYM Youth Day Picnic; The annual CYM Youth Day picnic will be held Sunday, June 19, 2005, at the CYM/OOChSU campus at Illinois and Benton streets in Palatine. CYM members are gathering in uniform at 8:45 am. Mass will be held at 9:00am, and the ceremonial program will take place at 10:30am. The day's activities will also include cultural performances, sports and leisure activities, delicious food and a raffle. Raffle books can be obtained at the CYM hall in Chicago, or at the picnic grounds. All CYM members and CYM youth should attend in uniform. Parents and guests are invited to join us for the festivities and the fun. On this day we also wish to espress our wishes for a Happy Father's Day to all our fathers and grandfathers.
Summer Recess: On Saturday, June 4*, our youth groups held their last sessions before the summer break. Group meeting and youth registrations will resume on Sunday, September 11, 2005. Further information will be provoded in the next newsletter.
Summer Camps in Baraboo: We wish all the youth members a happy and beneficial camp experience this summer!
Summer at the CYM Baraboo Resort; Don't forget to visit our beautiful resort in the rolling south-central Wisconsin hills near Baraboo this summer. Fresh air! Back to nature! Friendly faces! Work at the CYM Baraboo Resort: Sincere thanks to all the people who helped with work and maintenance of our resort this past "Memorial Day Weekend". Our resort is undergoing much renovation and we have several projects underway this year. It is only through the generous work and financial support of our membership and friends that the resort administration is able to maintain the resort in such splendor.
Debut: The Executive Board invites all female Yunatstvo in their third year of high school (Junior), who are interested in doing their debut at our Malanka in January of 2006 to contact Mrs. Lilia Kulas-Zaparaniuk as soon as possible. The deadline to be included as a debutante for January 2006 is August 1, 2005. The first meeting of debutantes and their parents will be after the summer season.
