Bradford Mela
The 21st annual Mela took place in Bradford's Peel Park on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June. CYM's dance ensemble "Krylati" was invited by the Mela's organisers to participate. The Monday group made up of starshe yunatsvo and druzhynnyky, following it's success the previous day at Okryzniyj Zdvych, treated the audience to three dances, two girls dances and one mixed dance.
The crowd was very enthusiastic and enjoyed seeing the traditional Ukrainian costumes and folk dancing, giving each dance rapturous applause at the end of each dance.
