St Nicholas visits Bradford
On Sunday 17th December, the annual Christmas dinner for pensioners in the Ukrainian community in Bradford took place at the Ukrainian Club Lyman.
This was followed by a visit from St Nicholas who also appeared in the short play performed by sumivtsi. Pensioners joined sumivtsi to sing songs to St Nicholas whose feast day is on the 19th December.
Before St Nicholas left, he handed out presents and gifts to all sumivtsi and children adding he had kept a watchful eye over all of them since his visit last year and knew they were well behaved and listened to their parents and vukhovnyky at CYM.
