Around 250 Ukrainians & their friends, mainly from Bradford but with a smattering of people from the Halifax, Huddersfield and Keighley communities gathered in Centenary Square, at the bottom of the stairs into City Hall. Miss Natalka Pylak started proceedings by explaining why the Torch was coming to Bradford. She then invited Mr Schur, Chair of AUGB Keighley Branch, to pass the Holodomor Commemorative Torch to Mrs Orysia Chymera, Chair of AUGB Bradford Branch.
