Remembering the Events of 30th June 1941
In response to the threats of Nazi Occupation and Russian Communism during the Second World War, the Proclamation of the Re-establishment of Ukrainian Independence took place in Lviv on 30th June 1941. When Oseredok CYM in Bradford was established in 1948, it adopted the name of "30th June 1941" in remembrance of this event. This year, sumivti from Bradford held their commemoration in Tarasivka, following the official ceremony at the Krayovyi Zdvyh.
