Congratulations Podruha Yarka Abramiuk!
On January 24, 2010, our holova, podruha Yarka Abramiuk, was honored for her service in the Ukrainian community - specifically, as a long-time volunteer in the American Ukrainian Youth Association - Mykola Pavlushkov branch - as an active member, counselor, and her longtime commitment in helping of the up-keep of the oselia in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The award was presented to her by the head of the Chicago chapter of UCCA - Oles Strilchuk. The annual luncheon and program, presented by UCCA (Ukrainian Congress Committee of America) - IL, commemorates the January 22 1918-1919 Ukrainian Independence.
