To the members, parents, friends and supporters,
We would like to express our utmost gratitude to the following entities and individuals:
- the Bulava itself, particularly to Adriana Popowych for St. Nicholas skit preparation. Thanks to all that have participated in the event, especially the ladies of the Alla Horska branch of WADFFU.
- All members of the A.U.Y.A. Malanka Committee, especially to Lilia Kulas-Zaparaniuk, who once again took the responsibility to lead the Committee. At the same time, we express our gratitude to Kathy Kulas, the Artistic Program Director, for hard work in training of our debutants and their escorts for such a great presenation.
- All members of the A.U.Y.A. Choir, especially its Director Wolodymyr Popowych, for outstanding perfomances at St. Joseph’s church feast on January 9th, St. Nicholas Cathedral “Kolyaduyemo Ukraini” on January 16th, as well as at our “Yalynka”. Also, big thanks to “Vinok” ensamble for a wonderful perfomance at “Kruty” and “Yalynka” celebrations.
- All of you for taking an active part in our traditional “Yalynka” and for generous “kolyada” donations. Congratulations to “yunatstvo” for a great performance at the Bulava and to “vykhovnyky” for program preparation. Also, we extend our thanks to all parents and “druzhynnyky” for such an invaluable assistance; personally, we thank Natalie Fafendyk for her outstanding organizational work on celebration preparation and as well as on the meals.
Executive Board elections of the Chicago branch of the A.U.Y.A.
General Executive Board elections took place on Sunday, February 27th. A huge “Thank You” to all the former Members of the Executive Board. We, at the same time, wish plenty of strength, energy and success to the newly-elected Members in the years 2005-2006!
Registration for Summer Camps and Motel Rooms will take place on Saturday, March 19th starting at 11:00 am till 3:00 pm. Registration applications and additional information have already been sent to parents earlier this month. You can also find them on our Web-Site at http:/www.cym.org/us/chicago
Summer Camps in Baraboo, WI in the summer of 2005
The Members of the Baraboo Summer Camp Committee are inviting youth members, parents and volunteers to participate in the Summer Camps. Please direct your wishes to Deanna Wruskyj, the Head of the Committee.
Choir of the Chicago branch of the A.U.Y.A. is encouraging talented individuals to get involved in the choir singing. Rehearsals take place in our branch building on Mondays at 7:30 pm.
The Spring “Village Fest” Celebration will be held on Sunday, May 21st in our branch building. Performances will feature all our branch artistic groups.

- March 19th, registration for Summer Camps and Motel Rooms.
- April 2nd, the Alla Horska branch of WADFFU will again be hosting an exhibit/sale of “Trypillian Ceramics”.
- April 16th, registration deadline and full payment submission for the Summer Camp 2005.
- May 15th, at 1:00 pm the Chicago AUYA branch will be celebrating its annual “Svyachene”/Easter brunch.
