On Saturday, October 30, 2004, the "molodshe yunatstvo" of CYM in Chicago attended a traditional fun-filled "maskarada" which the bulava sponsors every year. They played games such as Halloween twister, freeze dance, limbo and had a mummy wrap contest. The "vporyadnyky", "vporyadnytsi" and "kandydaty" came together to decorate and be part of this occasion. The hall was decorated with spider webs, pictures that the children drew and other festive decorations. The children also enjoyed walking through the haunted house.
