We congratulate the Oseredok's choir, especially its director Volodymyr Popowycz, for their successful performance in honor of Taras Shevchenko on March 12, 2000.

We congratulate our youth (under 12) singers and the theatrical ensemble "Tiazhko na Emihratsiyi" for their performance at the banquet honoring the 25th anniversary of the Senior Citizen's Club at St. Nicholas Cathedral Parish. We wish the St. Nicholas Seniors "Mnohaya lita" and sincerely thank them for their generous donation to our oseredok.

OUR TRADIITONAL SVIACHENE AND MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION will be held on Sunday May 14, 2000 at 1:00pm. The Board sincerely invites all of you to participate in this celebration and, if possible, support our Oseredok by purchasing a pysanka. All youth members(iunatsvo) are required to attend in their uniforms. (we are asking parent-volunteers to help in preparing food for the Sviachene starting Saturday, May 13 at 9:30am.)

Memorial Day Weekend (May 27 - 29) marks the beginning of the season on our Oselia in Baraboo, Wisconsin. we need volunteers to help the Board and the Oselia Committee in prepariong for the summer season. we need help not only on Memorial Day Weekend, but also on any other weekend that you are available. Please notify us at the Oseredok of your availability.

There are some rooms still available in the motels at the Oselia for the following weeks:
July 2 - 9
August 5 - 8 (shortened week due to soccer tournament)
August 13 - 20
August 20 - 27
August 27 - September 3

OUR ANNUAL PICNIC on SUM-PALATINE GROUNDS will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2000. Further information will be forthcoming in our next Newsletter.

TEH CAMP COMMITTEE REMINDS EVERYONE THAT THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING AND PAYING FOR SUMMER CAMPS IN FULL is June 1, 2000.
Late registrations or late payments will require a late fee payment of an additional $50.00 per child for each camp they are registered. Late registrations and registrations with late payments will be accommodated on space-available basis.

VOLLEYBALL. We now have a vollyball team for youth girls (over 12). Training is held SATURDAYS 3:30 - 5:30pm at the Oseredok.
Volleyball sessions for druzhynnyky (18 and over) and senior members are Saturday mornings 10:00am - 12:00pm. All those interested are invited to join.
