Congratulations to our choir and its director, V. Popowych, for a successful performance on November 5 at the UCCA "Commemoration of November 1".
We also congratulate our vocal ensemble, "VINOK", for their performance at the banquet on November 11 commemorating 50 years from the founding of the SUM "Kruty" branch. Thanks to Volodymyr Popowych, their director.

"BULAVA" ACTIVITIES:
"APEL" with a special activity on December 9, 2000 at 1:30 p.m. Uniforms are not required. Children are asked to wear something festive, i.e. green, red, sparkly.
CAROLING: We will be gathering to carol in groups on: Sunday, December 24, 2000 at 4:30 p.m.; Sunday, January 7, 2001 at 1:30 p.m.; and Sunday, January 14, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. We will be meeting at the "Oseredok".
CHRISTMAS BREAK begins Friday, December 15, 2000. Meetings resume on January 20, 2001.
"APEL - KRUTY" will be on Saturday, January 27, 2001 at the end of classes in Ukrainian School. Children should attend in uniforms. An "APEL" will follow in the "Oseredok".
ST. NICHOLAS meets with all good children on Saturday, December 16 at 3:00 p.m. in the main hall. Angels will be operating in the office from 9:30 a.m. that day. Simultaneously with this event the Women's Association ODFFU, Alla Horska Branch, will be conducting a donation drive for orphans in Ukraine. We ask that each child bring one of the following: new shawls, hats or gloves; toothbrushes and toothpaste; new combs in their original packages. We ask that parents take this occasion to remind their children that on this day when they will be receiving gifts that we also remember children less fortunate.

"MALANKA" NEW YEAR/DEBUTANTE BALL, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at the Renaissance Hotel at One West Wacker. Invitations will be mailed out shortly. To reserve tables please call podruha Darka Harrison, tel. 847 384-1350.

CAMP COORDINATING COMMITTEE FOR 2001 will be meeting on Saturday, December 9 at 9:30 a.m. We are asking parents and interested members to participate in this committee to insure another succeessful camping season.

CHOIR PRACTICE continues Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. New members are welcome!

SCHOOL OF DANCE is on Christmas break from Friday, December 15. Sessions resume on Tuesday, January 23, 2001.
