- 9/27/2009 - "Vesna" Dancing Group Performance at the
UACA Centennial Anniversary Festival
Members of the "Vesna" dancing group performed at the 100th Anniversary Festival of the Ukrainian American Citizens' Association (UACA) in Philadelphia.
- 10/4/2009 - Pilgrimage Under the Protection of the Mother of God
Members of our branch attended the 78th Annual Pilgrimage Under the Protection of the Mother of God. The Pilgrimage was held at Fox Chase Manor, PA.
- 10/17/2009 - Special Official Ceremony in Honor of Stepan Bandera
Our branch held a Special Official Ceremony in honor of Stepan Bandera, leader of OUN.
- 10/18/2009 - Divine Liturgy and Panakhyda in honor of Stepan Bandera
Our branch honored the life of OUN leader Stepan Bandera with a Divine Liturgy and Panakhyda for him at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Melrose Park, PA.
- 10/24/2009 - UAYA Philadelphia 60th Anniversary Banquet and "Zabava"
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch hosted a banquet and "Zabava" to celebrate its 60 years of existence!
- 10/25/2009 - Divine Liturgy Celebrating 60 Years of the UAYA Philadelphia Branch
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch thanked God for 60 great years and prayed for another healthy 60 to come at a special Divine Liturgy held at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jenkintown, PA.

Youth members of our branch put on a play for everyone to enjoy!
- 11/8/2009 - Day of Endurance
Our branch enjoyed a beautiful autumnal day at Lorimer Park during its annual Day of Endurance.
- 11/21/2009 - Special Official Ceremony in Honor of St. Michael the Archangel
Our branch held a Special Official Ceremony in honor of the UAYA's patron saint, St. Michael the Archangel.
- 11/21/2009 - Thanksgiving Baskets for Ascension Manor
The youth members prepared Thansksgiving baskets for the Ukrainian senior citizens at Ascension Manor in Philadelphia.
- 11/22/2009 - Divine Liturgy in Honor of St. Michael the Archangel & Blessing of Icons
Our branch prayed to its patron saint at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jenkintown, PA. Following the liturgy, the youth members had their icons of St. Michael blessed.
- 12/5/2009 - Performance at UECC Christmas Bazaar
The youth members put on a brief performance for patrons of the annual UECC Christmas Bazaar!
- 12/13/2009 - Annual Christmas Bazaar & Visit From St. Nicholas
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch held its annual Christmas Bazaar at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Melrose Park, PA. The afternoon was full of delicious Ukrainian foods, Christmas shopping and even contained a visit from St. Nicholas himself, who gave all the good children presents!

The UAYA Philadelphia Branch continued its longtime tradition of going caroling for Ukrainians in the greater Philadelphia area.
- 1/9/2010 - Annual Christmas Tree Ceremony
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch held its annual Christmas Tree Ceremony. Ukrainian Christmas carols were sung, traditions were practiced and delicious snacks were enjoyed!
- 1/16/2010 - Annual New Year's "Malanka" Dance
Our branch enjoyed a wonderful night ringing in the new year at its annual New Year's "Malanka" Dance.
- 2/12-14/2010 - Annual Winter Trip
Our branch headed to Oselia CYM in Ellenville, NY for a fun and relaxing winter weekend!
- 2/21/2010 - Opening of the "Shroud of Turin" Exhibit
Our branch attended the unveiling service of the "Shroud of Turin" replica at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia.
- 3/27/2010 - Pysanka Writing
Our youth members continued the famous Ukrainian tradition of writing pysanky!
- 4/17/2010 - "Beef & Beverage" Fundraiser
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch held a classic "Beef & Beverage" Fundraiser to help raise funds for the organization's volleyball program.
- 4/18/2010 - Landscaping at the Monument of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky
Members of the UAYA Philadelphia Branch cleaned and landscaped at the monument of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky located at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia. The Most Reverend Stefan Soroka, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, personally thanked the branch for its volunteer work and continued support!
- 4/25/2010 - Panakhyda in Honor of Roman Shukhevych
Our branch honored the life of UPA leader Roman Shukhevych with a Panakhyda for him at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jenkintown, PA.
- 5/29-30/2010 - 51st Annual UAYA Zlet
The youth of the Philadelphia Branch once again competed at the Zlet jamboree, held annually at Oselia CYM in Ellenville, NY. Not only was our branch in charge of running the event this year, but our youth captured first place overall for the second time in four years! Congratulations to our youth for all its hard work and also to our members for organizing another successful Zlet!
- 6/5/2010 - Fixing the Graves of Our Departed Members
Our branch spent a Saturday afternoon at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery and Lawnview Cemetery fixing the graves of former members that are no longer with us.

The UAYA Philadelphia Branch got a chance to have some fun after a long season!
- 6/13/2010 - UAYA Youth Day
The Philadelphia Branch officially closed out the 2009-2010 season with its annual "Youth Day" at the Ukrainian American Sport Center, "Tryzub" in Horsham, PA.
- 6/19/2010 - General Assembly of the UAYA Philadelphia Branch
Our branch prepared itself for the next season by conducting its annual General Assembly meeting.
