2006-2007 Season
- 9/2-3/2006 - 55th Annual Zdvyh Gathering
On Labor Day weekend, the UAYA Philadelphia Branch participated at the 55th Annual Zdvyh Gathering at Oselia CYM in Ellenville, NY.
- 9/16/2006 - Opening of the 2006-2007 Season
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch officially kicked-off its 2006-2007 season!
- 10/1/2006 - Pilgrimage Under the Protection of the Mother of God
Our branch attended the Pilgrimage at the Sisters of the Order of St. Basil the Great at Fox Chase Manor.
- 10/20/2006 - Vykhovnyk Seminar
Three members of our Bulava took a trip north of the border to attend the UAYA's Vykhovnyk Seminar in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- 10/28/2006 - Halloween Party and Ghost Tour
Our branch held a Halloween party with plenty of fun and games for all. That same night, the older youth members took a ghost tour at the infamous Eastern State Penitentiary.
- 11/5/2006 - Day of Endurance
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch spent an autumnal day at Tyler State Park.
- 11/19/2006 - "Rij Tsvit Paporoti" Visits New York City
The oldest youth girls, "Rij Tsvit Paporoti," took a day trip to the Big Apple.
- 12/16/2006 - "Sumenyata" Winter Trip
Our youngest youth members spent a winter evening in Center City Philadelphia visiting the city's Christmas Tree.
- 12/30/2006 - Caroling
The UAYA Philadelphia Branch had a great time caroling for local Ukrainians.
- 1/13/2007 - Christmas Eve Dinner
The youth members ate a delicious dinner and sang Christmas carols at a recreation of a traditional Ukrainian Christmas Eve Dinner.
- 1/20/2007 - Annual New Year's "Malanka" Dance
Our branch held its annual New Year's "Malanka" Dance to the tunes of the band "Hrim."
- 2/16-18/2007 - Annual Winter Trip
On President's Day Weekend, our branch once again spent a beautiful weekend at Oselia CYM relaxing and spending quality time bonding with one another.
- 3/24/2007 - Pysanka Writing
Our youth members continued the famous Ukrainian tradition of writing pysanky before Easter Sunday.
- 4/7/2007 - Easter Honor Guard
Our youth members once again stood Easter Honor Guard at Our Lord's Tomb on Holy Saturday. This year, Easter Honor Guard was held at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia and at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jenkintown, PA.
- 6/16/2007 - General Assembly of the UAYA Philadelphia Branch
Our branch prepared itself for the next season by conducting its General Assembly.
