The honour of Ukraine — I’m prepared to defend!
This greeting is used at official CYM functions, at opening and closing of our state, national and international get togethers, Apels meetings and youth group meetings. Usually we stand at attention when we say this greeting as a mark of respect.
This greeting also aims to remind CYM people about the principles which underpin the organisation and which should guide the daily life of all members.
This greeting reminds us that we should always he ready to defend the honour and dignity of Ukraine and our own honour and dignity as Ukrainians or people of Ukrainian heritage. This does not mean by physical fighting hut relates to words and deeds.
