Depends on exactly which Mk Combat Axe it is. The one shown in the picture here, the Mk V Combat Axe, has a good push attack for hordes. Decent cleave (3 horde trash iirc) and very fast, but it eats stamina so you have to be a bit careful. It cleaves on push attack.Right now for veteran, Antax Combat Axe is a real winner. Tactical axes don't really offer anything you want as a veteran, while combat axes have good damage, amazing maniac damage, and good blessings (brutal momentum is great) The Antax is the best of the bunch because of the cleave and the push attack.The cleave damage of the axe was pretty bad and you ended up just pushing horde around mostly, which was safe. Now you kill at least two per hit. I'm not really looking forward to trying tactical axes with the new change. Heavies will be good still on the II and VII but the lights probably took a big hit. Edit: Fun fact - The chainaxe has a super high aim assist and will literally lock on to enemies 90 degrees to your side.
